This is an alpha version of Konopoly, a free Monopoly-Clone. Although I know about KMonop, I decided to publish this code, because I started it around 12/98 and didn't like to throw away all efforts :-) At the moment, there is:

• a simple game engine
• a simple, but acceptable GUI (I think :-)
• a CPU opponent, who isn't even able to buy a street (you have to do this for him :-/)
• a set of Streetcards, where all data from the german Monopoly are entered (Streetnames, prices, etc.)
• so much silly code I don't know where to start optimizing

When I started Konopoly, I had in mind to create a Monopoly-look-alike game (it should look just the way the old board game) and that very quick. Because I am not the super-programmer I thought I am ;-) I need a helping hand to finish this project.

What needs to be done:
 

• code optimizing !
• maybe a better GUI
• a computer opponent !! (one with configurable intelligence ?)
• translating the german streetnames into english and maybe using different prices, etc., because I just copied from the original game...
• configure script
• I'm think there are a few things to be done not on the list
